RESAW
In the Container Saw, processing takes place simultaneously in the block saw and the resaw. Parallel processing increases the throughput of the Container Saw enormously. The log is prismatized, i.e. processed into squares, in the log saw in the lower area of the container. The resaw is located in the upper area, where the squares are then sawn into finished sawn timber.
SAWMILL WASTE
Sawdust and shavings are produced as by-products. Processing with a hogger means that there are no long wood residues, which means that the sawdust can be transported directly to the combined heat and power plant or for further processing.
FULL AUTOMATION
The use of industry-standard automation technology means that all processes are efficient, monitored, customizable and safe. The system is controlled by a robust industrial PC, which enables precise operation and remote maintenance of the system. Log measurement, cutting optimization, mechanics and safety technology are controlled fully automatically - this drastically reduces personnel costs.
EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM
Fire detectors are installed in the Container Saw, both in the saws and in the control cabinet. The integrated extinguishing system triggers automatically and prevents the spread of fires in the container and its surroundings.

With comparatively low investment costs and low personnel costs, the Container Saw offers high profitability. The combination of full automation, optimized cutting quality and short transport routes for timber ensures the best yields while minimizing waste and rework.
SAVE ON HALL CONSTRUCTION
Classic, stationary sawmills require halls for the installation of machines. These buildings and systems must be of a large size in order to be able to cover the resulting high costs through a high cutting capacity.
UTILIZE DAMAGED WOOD
Numerous damaging events in the forest result in large quantities of damaged timber being concentrated locally. This accumulation means that logs have to be stored for a long time, as the local transport and sawing capacities are not sufficient to process the resulting quantities.
REDUCE SPACE REQUIREMENTS
The compact design and space-saving arrangement of all components enable operation even in limited spaces. Efficient use of space means less space consumption and more flexibility in the choice of location. Existing timber yards are ideal for installation.
INCREASE SUSTAINABILITY
Our technology sets standards when it comes to conserving resources: precise log measurement and optimized cutting planning ensure maximum use of the wood. We also minimize energy consumption and emissions thanks to state-of-the-art automation and environmentally friendly drive systems.
REDUCE CO₂ EMISSIONS
The transport route from the felling in the forest to the sawmill is massively reduced by regionalizing the cutting in the Container Saw. In addition to the environmental aspect, the elimination of transportation costs also makes a significant contribution to the cost-effectiveness of the Container Sawmill.

ABOUT US
ROSSINGER Robotics GmbH was founded in 2022 by the three entrepreneurs Heinz Ondracek, Julian Himmelbauer and Stefan Demmer. What began as a spontaneous solution to a practical problem quickly developed into an innovative company in the field of automated wood processing.
THE IDEA: BORN OUT OF PRACTICE
The origin was a space problem: there was not enough room in the hall for a self-built sawing system. Instead of giving up, a new idea was born: a fully automated sawmill in a container. An early concept - the first preliminary study - was put into operation in 2021, even before the company was founded.
The company headquarters and all development work are located in Austria. Production and component procurement are also mainly regional - for maximum quality, short distances and strong cooperation with local partners.

We are rethinking sawmill systems: compact, automated and practical. Our aim is to increase efficiency and flexibility for wood processing companies, whether in industry, trade or construction.
